AUGUST 12, 2016 SUNSET BOULEVARD:  I visited the Scientology Media Productions lot today three months after it opened to find exactly what I expected:  nothing.  A trickle of workers, empty lots, empty backlot, a parking garage 95% empty on the first floor.  This despite unbelievable hype that this complex would be a flurry of activity promoting the Church.

Nope, as everyone suspected it is just a big real estate rip off.  The Church bought the totally unnecessary property simply to add another gem to its Hollywood Real Estate collection.  And impress the neighbors, I suppose.

Well I'm a local and I'm not impressed.

And as the document at right attests, they are begging for money AGAIN.  Yes, purchasing the buildings for about 40 million in cash they are using it as another excuse to get money out of people for nothing at all.  You don't know where your donations go in the Church, but they certainly aren't going to go to disseminating Scientology.  Now the excuse is "We spent all that money just for the building setup, now we need more money to do anything at all."
