In
early 2009
the Riverside Board of Supers has been discussing whether Gold Base
needs extra security to protect the occupants who live there from evil
protesters. How much more protection does Scientology need?
They have overzealous guards, spiked fences with three inch blades,
motion detectors, infrared scanners, underground sensors, cameras,
floodlights and a snipers nest. What more could you ask for?
The Scientologists claim that cultists who live on the property would be disturbed by our noise. Which is funny because they entire time we protest we are often bombarded by a howling speaker system that sounds like this!
The
heaviest security seems to be reserved for the
Rehabilitation Project Force (RPF) housing which juts like a tongue
from the northeast corner of the fenced in property. Here there are
inward facing black motion detectors on every fence segment along with
floodlights and infrared cameras.
